This policy is written for the current TBA Energy website and for the energy simulation game as part of the website experience.

This Privacy Policy applies to the TBA Energy website, contact forms, workshop inquiries, educational content, energy simulation game, downloadable game reports, and related digital experiences operated by TBA Energy.
The policy explains what information may be collected, how it may be used, when it may be shared, and how visitors, instructors, students, and workshop participants can contact us about privacy questions.

Information you provide directly. This may include your name, email address, phone number, organization, school, job title, inquiry details, workshop goals, class size, preferred session format, and any message or files you choose to submit through forms or email.
Game and session information. When the energy simulation game is used on the website, the game may collect or generate team names, selected roles or archetypes, round-by-round decisions, energy mix choices, investments, imports, exports, subsidies, event responses, budget outcomes, public satisfaction, emissions, reliability, jobs, scores, exports, class/session identifiers, facilitator notes, and timestamps.
Technical information. Like most websites, we may receive browser type, device type, IP address, pages viewed, referring pages, approximate location derived from network information, cookies or similar identifiers, log data, and security/performance information.

The energy simulation game is designed for education, training, and discussion. Players should not enter unnecessary personal information into team names, notes, exports, or open-text fields. Instructors and facilitators should use neutral team names whenever possible.
If the game is used in a classroom, the instructor, school, or sponsoring organization may decide how students join, what names or identifiers are used, which exports are downloaded, and how results are discussed. TBA Energy will use game/session information for the educational or support purpose connected to the session, unless another use is clearly disclosed.
If a school-hosted session involves minors, TBA Energy expects participation to occur under school, instructor, parent, or guardian oversight as appropriate. We do not intentionally request sensitive student information, and we encourage instructors to avoid collecting personal details that are not needed for the lesson.

Game exports downloaded by instructors or facilitators are controlled by the person or organization that downloads them. If you want a classroom or workshop export deleted or corrected, contact the instructor/facilitator first when they control that file, and contact TBA Energy if the request relates to information held by TBA Energy.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No website, form, email system, or online game can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so please avoid sending sensitive information unless it is necessary.
